How do I place an ad?
To place an ad, you may use our website or you can place your ad over the phone by calling 404-526-5763, or you may fax us at 404-526-5904.

When will my ad start?
Your ad will be posted online once it has been approved for publication. Approval typically occurs the same day you purchase your ad, provided you make the deadline (4 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday). Once approved, your ad goes live and an email confirmation will be sent to you. If you placed an ad in the newspaper, it will be published on the start date you selected when placing the ad. Changes made after business hours will be reviewed the next day.

How much was I charged? Do I get a receipt?
If you placed your ad online, you will receive an email receipt with details of your transaction. The email will be sent to the email address that you provided when you placed the ad.

How do I change, edit, or cancel my ad?
You can cancel your ad by clicking the My Ads link at the top of the page or by calling 404-526-5766. ALL changes and edits to print ads must be called in to 404-526-5766. Restrictions apply.

How do I place an ad in Mundo Hispanico?
Ads in this publication must be placed by phone. Please call 404-881-0441 to place your ad.

What are the terms for a Free Ad?
Free ads are limited to items selling in the merchandise and recreation categories. Ads are limited to one item per ad and must include a price. Ad includes one free photo (additional photos extra). Ads will appear online at ajcclassifieds.com and will run as specified int he package description. Publisher reserve the right to edit, reject or reclassify advertisements at its sole discretion, without notice.

How can I find photos for an ad that I saw in the newspaper (ads that feature a camera icon)?
Go to ajchomefinder.com and click on "MLS/Web/Photo ID" and enter the code found next to the camera icon in the newspaper ad.

I've placed my ad over the phone and wish to upload photos. When and how can I upload photos?
When you have finished placing your ad, you will receive an email containing information on uploading photos. Follow the instructions contained in the email.

I'm having trouble uploading my photos in Internet Explorer.
There are times when you may have trouble uploading your photos with some older versions of Internet Explorer. This shouldn't be a problem if your version is 7.0 or higher.

What size should my photos be for uploading?
Your photos should be no smaller than 400x400 pixels. A typical 1 mega-pixel digital camera will produce a photo that's 1024x768 pixels which is well suited for displaying online.

Do photos have to be color or can I upload black & white photos?
We accept black/white and color photos. It is highly recommended that you upload color photos though.

When will my photos appear online?
If you placed your ad online, your photo will appear once your ad has been approved. If you placed your ad over the phone, your photos will take 4 to 24 hours to appear online from the time you upload them.

How many characters per line are there in a classified ad from the newspaper?
There are approximately 22-25 characters per line (including spaces).

Why am I getting a message that says "Page cannot be displayed"?
There can be many reasons for getting this message. Please verify that you are connected to the Internet first by visiting another website such as Yahoo! or Google. Then verify that the web site is accessible from another browser window or another browser.
