Sr. Software Engineer (Multiple Positions Offered) A Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java, AWS, React, and Kafka, focused on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications. The role encompasses building RESTful microservices with Java and modern web frameworks, deploying solutions on AWS by leveraging services for compute, storage, and database management, and implementing event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and system integration. Responsibilities include setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Helm, working with containerization and orchestration platforms, and creating effective monitoring dashboards. The engineer also provides support for production environments using both relational and NoSQL databases, while delivering responsive front-end applications in React enhanced with advanced tools and libraries such as React Query, Material UI, Formik, and Next.js to ensure high performance, scalability, and engaging user experiences. Require: Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a closely related field, with 2 years of experience in the job offered as a Software Engineer or a closely related occupation, or a Bachelor's degree in one of those same fields with 5 years of progressively responsible experience in one of those same occupations; Extensive travel on assignments to various unanticipated client sites within the U.S. is required.
