PUBLIC NOTICE Brighton Village Subdivision Annexation Public Hearing Wednesday, March 12, 2025, 1:30 p.m. The Finance/Executive Committee of the Atlanta City Council will hold a Public Hearing in the Marvin S. Arrington, Sr. Council Chamber, City Hall, 55 Trinity Avenue, S.W., 2nd Floor, on the following legislation: AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE ANNEXATION OF PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE BRIGHTON VILLAGE SUBDIVISON LOCATED IN UNINCORPORATED DEKALB COUNTY TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ATLANTA, GEORGIA PURSUANT TO THE 60% METHOD; TO EXTEND THE BOUNDARIES OF THE ATLANTA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL SYSTEM; TO NOTIFY THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS OF SUCH ANNEXATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. A copy of the proposed Ordinance and the Service Delivery Plan is on file in the Office of the Municipal Clerk of the City of Atlanta for the purpose of examination and inspection of the public. Written comments to the Atlanta City Council may be submitted in care of the Municipal Clerk until March 11, 2025. 2-26, 3-5-25
