PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF THE FULTON COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS REVISED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR 2020 2026 AND SUPPORTING RATE STRUCTURE In 2017, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners (BOC) approved the initial funding the Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Based on the recent financial analysis, in order to complete the revised 2020 2026 Capital Improvement Program, Fulton County must provide additional funding for the capital improvement projects. The Departments of Public Works will hold public hearings in anticipation of a resolution to authorize increases in water and sewer rates, fees and charges. If approved by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, the new rate structure would go into effect beginning on January 1, 2020. Any changes in water and sewer rates, fees and charges will be set in order to complete the projects identified in the current CIP. The Fulton County Department of Public Works will hold public meetings from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on the following dates: Monday, September 23, 2019 Fulton County South Service Center 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park, Georgia 30349 Tuesday, September 24, 2019 Fulton County North Service Center 7741 Roswell Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30350 Persons wishing to comment on the proposed Capital Improvement Program for 2020 2025 and supporting rate structure are invited to submit their comments in writing to The Fulton County Department of Public Works, 141 Pryor Street S.W., Suite 6001, Atlanta, Georgia 30303 or via e-mail at ray.wooten@fultoncountyga.gov, within 30 days of this notice. "Fulton County Capital Improvement Program and Supporting Rate Structure" should be placed at the top of the first page of comments or subject of email. The Capital Improvement Program details and other information are available at the Fulton County Department of Water Resources' address between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
